Summary: Responsible and targeted for generating new business and developing wider relationships and winning new opportunities with existing clients. As well as an individual target you will be a part of the team’s target and growth agenda.

Reporting to: Marketing Director

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The ability to sell in a consultative manner primarily to the Human Resources community, this will include talent, organisational development and learning and development professionals. Our key client is also on occasions the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Team.
To effectively describe and sell our offerings and solutions which include training and development programmes/solutions; employee engagement, leadership development, coaching initiatives, team development and retention of top talent.
Responsible for the winning of new business and achieving individual sales targets
The ability to develop and grow existing client relationships
To effectively win new business by producing impactful presentations and writing detailed proposals
To work to specific targets, monitoring and reporting progress
To effectively manage sales forecast and own pipeline of new and existing business

Research, analyse and monitor financial, technological and demographic factors to capitalise on market opportunities using central and marketing resources
Extensive travel across the sales area, plus occasional European and International travel.

To participate in the staff development programme within the framework of IIP and within the agreed individual staff development plan.
To ensure that the Equality and Diversity, Health and Safety and Quality Operating Policies and Procedures are adhered to within your area of responsibility and that any non-compliance is reported to your Manager.

To ensure that the Corporate Values of the Company are actively promoted and implemented at all times.

To communicate with internal and external agencies, staff, customers, management and peers in a manner appropriate to your position at all times.

To ensure that the system for maintaining/checking licences and business insurance of employees who travel on company business and the roadworthiness of their vehicles is maintained in line with Company policy

Desirable Requirements

Good standard of education or equivalent experience

Proven track record of successful consultative sales and achieving targets

Strong business development skills

Outstanding listening, questioning and consulting skills

Excellent presentation skills

Ability to communicate and network with people at all levels

Excellent proposal writing and thought skills to win new business

Ability to think strategically in viewing sales issues and opportunities

Proven teamwork experience

Car owner/driver

Professional qualification/Degree

HR sector/learning and development industry experience

Other language skills

Full clean driving license
